The son of Querari should have no issues with the drop in distance as he won on debut over 1000m. He is unbeaten under Richard Fourie and will be looking to keep that record intact.

LION’S HEAD took on stronger company in his last two starts. He raced from a handy position last time and stayed on well at the finish. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Dynasty takes a drop in class and with a bit of luck from his wide draw, he may be the one to beat.

PINK TOURMALINE followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish over a mile on this course. She set the pace that day and stayed on at the business end. The daughter of Futura looks to be above average and from her good draw of three, she should be the one to beat
