Magic Tips Best Bets

TOP BET
Race 1: ZODIAC JACK(2)
Jockey: Richard FOURIE – Trainer: Greg ENNION

ZODIAC JACK made huge improvement when he thrashed his maiden field in his comeback run, second time o ut The speedy son of Just As Well ended his conditioner’s barren spell in the process and clearly has more progress to come. He takes on one other winner today and can raise his game further.

Race 2: JUNTA(2)
Jockey: Greg CHEYNE – Trainer: Candice BASS-ROBINSON

JUNTA is progressing steadily with experience and she made smart late headway despite finding traffic problems over this c & d, two weeks ago. She finished exactly half a length in front of debutante SHREWDY that day and the well-related daughter of Var can certainly build on that career best effort. The latter drifted in the betting market but still made late progress on her fair debut in the same event as the top selection. She should make natural improvement and is an obvious threat for her in-form yard.

Race 3: BIRDS EYE VIEW(2)
Jockey: Grant BEHR – Trainer: Paul REEVES

BIRDS EYE VIEW has some useful form and he represents an in-form combination today. He just felt the effects of overcoming a wide draw when tiring late over this c & d last time but earned the nine-week rest and could stake a serious claim here. The bay gelding is capable with frontrunning tactics and he is drawn best of all.

Race 6: CABALLO BLANCO(6)

Jockey: Aldo DOMEYER- Trainer: Candice BASS-ROBINSON

CABALLO BLANCO didn’t compete in the summer after his poor last feature showing when going beyond sprints. The Querari gelding had very useful prior sprint form at handicap level though and he holds strong claims on his track return. He has dropped steadily in the ratings.

VALUE BET (EACH WAY) FOR TODAY:
Race 7: GYPSY BEAUTY(6)

Jockey: Anthony ANDREWS – Trainer: Greg ENNION

DROP THE PILOT is fast reaching a competitive merit rating and rather interestingly, she was docked a further three pounds for her much improved recent comeback run over this c & d. The bay filly was making eye-catching late progress that day and she is now 6kgs better off with her conqueror VARIFAST for the 3.45 lengths defeat. Furthermore, trainer Ennion’s charge will strip fitter and she can cause the upset.
