WARWICK

Race 1 No1 ON TO VICTORY (Nap)

Trainer: Alan King – Jockey: Tom Cannon

ON TO VICTORY is in much calmer waters than when finishing down the field in the competitive Betfair Hurdle at Newbury and this strong traveller can return to winning ways. He got home by the skin of his teeth in a previous race at Wincanton but is better than that bare form indicates.

Race 6 No8 BALLYMILLSY

Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

The unexposed BALLYMILLSY showed a liking for this course and distance when opening his account on handicap debut last month, picking off his rivals and staying on strongly at the business end. He’s held in high regard by connections, and off this revised mark can follow-up.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 4 No1 GRIGGY

Trainer: Sean Curran – Jockey: Adam Kirby

GRIGGY showed plenty of all round pace when third over this trip at Newcastle last week. This is going to help him overcome the widest draw in a race run round a bend into the short home straight. If he doesn’t use up too much energy early, he can have a big say.

Race 6 No2 ALBERT CAMUS (Nap)

Trainer: John Gosden – Jockey: Rab Havlin

The fact that ALBERT CAMUS prevailed here last week despite everything going wrong augers well for the Teofilo colt following-up. In a first time hood he was one of the first to come under a ride but only in the final 100 yards did he get rolling, his long stride getting him up the the final stride to catch Swindon Noon in a blanket finish.
