LINGFIELD PARK

Race 3: No7 – SWEET CHARITY
Trainer: Denis Coakley – Jockey: David Egan

SWEET CHARITY has competed well on both Polytrack and grass this season and returns to this course from a freshening break. She likes having her races spaced out evenly, and if coming back in the same form as when third to Ravens Ark here at the start of the month, will surely pick up another cheque in this mile and a quarter handicap in which she is drawn to obtain a good early position.

Race 7: No10 – SIXNTWOTHREES
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Tom Marquand

The experienced Night Moment is well drawn to attack but a better value option is SIXNTWOTHREES, who displayed marked improvement on her second start when fourth to Beheld on soft ground at Newbury. The daughter of Sixties Icon has pleased in her work subsequently.

Race 8: No3 – GREYSTOKE (Nap)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Tom Marquand

GREYSTOKE was very easy to back on debut at Sandown, and though staying on past beaten horses, never looked like striking a blow in the race won by Yibir. The race appears to have done him the power of good, and like many juveniles from this stable he can take a step forward to open his account.

Race 9: No5 – VAMOOS
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Tom Marquand

Having shown promise initially, VAMOOS took a backward step when finishing last but one to Army Of India on the Polytrack here. The grey has been given plenty of time to get over that third quick outing and it’s manifested itself in his demeanor at home. He should get into the shake-up on this handicap debut.

MUSSELBURGH

Race 4: No1 – DIGITAL (Each Way)
Trainer: Kevin Ryan – Jockey: Tom Eaves

Significantly will start an automatic favourite for this novice stakes but DIGITAL has a fair chance of turning that colt over and ending a frustrating run of seconditis. The Kodi Bear colt has had his races evenly spaced out, hitting the woodwork at Newcastle, Doncaster, and Thirsk. His rival has also been unlucky not to win and has the better form, but at the respective prices, Digital looks an each-way bet to nothing.

Race 9: No11 – TOTAL DISTRACTION (Nap)
Trainer: Karl Burke – Jockey: Clifford Lee

TOTAL DISTRACTION ran out of gas at the business end of his latest start at Lingfield after travelling well for most of the way in a first-time visor. His trainer pulls him back a tad in an easier race and replaces that headgear with cheekpieces. He faces a bunch of mainly out of form rivals.
