GOODWOOD

Race 1 No6 BIMBLE

Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Ryan Moore

The booking of Moore takes the eye on BIMBLE who likes this track and should be all the better for her comeback outing at Windsor. She should handle the quick underfoot conditions.

Race 2 No8 LADY DOLLARS (Nap)

Trainer: Tom Ward – Jockey: Martin Dwyer

As green as grass on debut at Windsor, LADY DOLLARS shaped with considerable promise and has a great chance of opening her account as she will have street wisdom to take to the track, always a big factor with a two-year-old at this stage of the season.

CHEPSTOW

Race 1 No6 AMY BEACH (Nap)

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Edward Greatrex

The one that takes the eye is AMY BEACH, a New Approach filly that shaped with abundant promise on seasonal reappearance at Newbury where she was not given a hard time. Starting as an 80-1 roughie, she stayed on steadily and the run is thought to have done her a world of good.

Race 5 No11 SIXCOR (Each Way)

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: George Bass

SIXCOR is a name to conjure with in this weak sprint handicap. He’s shown nothing in three starts so far, but now in handicaps could do better.

Race 7 No4 BRING THE MONEY (Each Way)

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Edward Greatrex

First time back is the right time to catch BRING THE MONEY who although an infrequent winner will not be disgraced on his reappearance. He won at Bath and was unlucky not to score at Ripon, after which his form nosedived. However, the signals from the gallops are that he’s ready for this.

Race8 No3 SELECTO

Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: George Bass

SELECTO has taken his time finding his stride for new connections but can leave his disappointing Doncaster run behind. He hasn’t quite come in his coat but should do a lot better in what looks a winnable contest.

CHELTENHAM

Race 4 No6 FLINTHAM

Trainer: Mrs Sara Bradstock – Jockey: Mrs A Cox

FLINTHAM was a half-decent handicapper from the stable that produced a Gold Cup winner in Coneygree and a Hennessy hero in Carruthers. He’s been well tutored for Hunter-chases and landed a point last month to advertise his well-being.

Race 7 No10 RISK A FINE (Nap)

Trainer: Miss Nimmo – Jockey: Mr James King

Fresh from his win in the Liverpool Fox Hunters, King now has a great chance of taking out this Open race with RISK A FINE. The selection was a prolific winner through 2019 with four successes from just six runs at this level, and the fact he’s been off for 700 days might prove irrelevant to a horse that always goes well after a break, and has an outstanding record with his jockey.

NEWCASTLE

Race 2 No1 CAMELOT TALES (Nap)

Trainer: Simon Crisford – Jockey: Tom Eaves

The beautifully-bred CAMELOT TALES looked good when breaking his maiden at Redcar and now runs under a penalty. He’s up against some potentially tough foes in a race where a lot of the big stables are represented but could have a lot more to offer.

Race 3 No6 CHICHESTER

Trainer: Keith Dalgleish – Jockey: Danny Tudhope

CHICHESTER looks to have been transformed by a wind operation judging from the way he powered home on debut for this trainer. He skipped a good opportunity last week to wait for this, in which a 9lb weight rise is unlikely to impair his progression.
