CHEPSTOW

Race 2 No9 REGAL BLUE
Trainer: Jonjo O’Neill – Jockey: Jonjo O’Neill Jr

REGAL BLUE brings good form from Ireland to the table in this maiden hurdle for a stable that does well with its runners here. He is well regarded and should get the better of Mylesfromwicklow who is respected on debut for another top stable.

Race 3 No2 FLOWING CADENZA
Trainer: Venetia Williams – Jockey: Charlie Deutsch

FLOWING CADENZA has adapted to a change of scenery, following the retirement of her trainer, with a second at this course and an easy win at Hereford. She loves testing conditions, and could have more to offer.

Race 5 No5 COME ON GRUFF (Nap)
Trainer: Tom George – Jockey: Jonathan Burke

COME ON GRUFF looks to be edging towards another success, and with his stable in good order the seven-year-old is in a good spot to strike, having gone down in a blanket finish behind multiple scorer Good News at Kempton last time.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No10 REGAL GLORY (Nap)
Trainer: Laura Mongan – Jockey: William Carson

There are a few unexposed runners in this, but it could pay to stick with the proven track record of REGAL GLORY whose Lingfield win last time is working out very well. Also in the filly’s favour is that for a horse that likes to dominate she has a perfect draw from which to attack, two off the fence.

Race 5 No7 BASS STRAIT
Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Rose Dawes

BASS STRAIT showed a liking for this course when opening her account earlier in the month and has to be taken seriously off her revised mark with the same capable pilot in her saddle. She has the versatility to cope with this big drop back in trip, and to follow-up.

Race 7 No7 BUNGLE BAY
Trainer: H Evans – Jockey: Imogen Mathias

BUNGLE BAY is unlucky not to have won his last two under girl apprentices and now has a new one on his back as he attempts to back up a plucky Wolverhampton success two weeks ago. It’s only his second visit to this track, but he ran well the previous time and is well drawn.

SOUTHWELL

Race 5 No1 BERKSHIRE BREEZE (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding- Jockey: PJ McDonald

Balding has been a high-profile visitor to this course over the New Year and enjoyed notable success. He can add to his tally with BERKSHIRE BREEZE, who is in much calmer waters and should make no mistake.

Race 7 No5 BOND BOY
Trainer: Mike Appleby – Jockey: Kevin Stott

BOND BOY landed some good bets at Wolverhampton and has shown admirable consistency in his races through the winter. He has a good slot in the gate from which to attack, and another success would be no surprise in this relatively weak sprint.
