Magic Tips Preview
The classy FOLK DANCE displayed her courage and determination with a pleasing comeback effort in the Guineas despite numerous issues. She weakened late into 4th behind TAKINGTHEPEACE over the mile that day but will strip much fitter and should handle this extra furlong comfortably. She has nearly three lengths to find on the latter whose latest achievement indicated that she will also enjoy this trip. She has to contend with a poor draw though.
Her stablemate SILVER THURSDAY was pegged back late in the event referred to above and she will be fitter. Of course she was having her first start back on the Highveld after a Cape summer campaign.
The KZN visitors FLICHITY BY FARR and ROY’S RIVIERA are above average types with smart credentials and they are certainly capable of upsetting their esteemed local rivals.
AURELIA COTTA wasn’t disgraced when tiring late over this c & d in open company last month and she could be a threat from the best draw. Her red-hot yard has employed the services of big race jockey Fayd’Herbe.
