RACE 1 – Time: 06:00 Class 5 Handicap -1000m
Selections: 1/2/8
MISTER DYNAMO down in grade now and has trialled well in preparation for this return to Class 5 racing with the champion jockey Vlad Duric booked. Hard to beat. OUR SECRET WEAPON an in-form Mark Walker runner and is very well suited by these conditions. Can go close again. TRIPLE BOWL now tries the blinkers for the second time (only other run was a good one) and remains off a very handy mark. One to watch closely.
RACE 2 – Time: 06:30 Maiden- 1600m

CLERGYMAN this race will not take much winning and the vote goes to this Copperbelt runner. He had okay form early on in his career and has trialled well recently. IMA the trip could be a question mark but if he stays, he can be involved. ALEXANDER a half-brother to multiple-Group winner Countofmontecristo. He has run well over sprint trips, and this is a new test for him here.
RACE 3 – Time: 07:00 Class 4 Handicap – 1100m

MAN OF MYSTERY ran on nicely for second to Kiss Your Song last time out. Sees his victor two kilos better. Can turn the tables. SKY EYE seldom puts a wrong foot in. Maps well for this race and will figure prominently at the business end. KISS YOUR SONG loves it when he gets things his way in front or handy as he showed when he bounced back to winning ways last start. No reason why he can’t give this another go.
RACE 4 – Time: 07:30 Class 5 Handicap -1700m

MAXIMILIAN racing well currently and should be around the mark again in this contest. BLITZ POWER racing off a decent mark at the moment and was a good second from a long way back last time out. CIZEN LUCKY up a point for a good run last time out and is one to consider here.
RACE 5 – Time: 08:00 Class 5 Handicap – 1700m

HERO IN THE WIND last three runs have been solid. Only one win on his CV but will take some beating if he reproduces his recent good form here. LION SPIRIT narrowly missed a podium spot last time out. Recorded only win over course and distance. Each-way claims. SPORTSCASTER versatile type who can mix up his distances. Three of his four wins were recorded over course and distance.
RACE 6 – Time: 08:30 Class 4 Handicap -1200m

VALOROUS although still a maiden here has run some very strong races behind some very smart horses such as Strong N Smart. Only needs to bring that form here and he will be dangerous. HOTSHOTS SLAM he can mix his form from time to time but when he is right, he is a very handy horse. Two starts ago really tested Lim’s Kosciuszko and made him earn that victory. FROM THE NAVY well placed last start to win at Class 5 grade. Has been competitive behind Be You running a strong third in a Novice a few starts ago.
RACE 7 – Time: 09:00 Class 5 Handicap -1000m

LIM’S SHOT has dropped to a decent mark now on 37 and this race won’t take much winning if he is on song. MY HORSE a seven-time winner who is now 16 points lower than his last victory and with that in mind, he finds a nice race to go close here. HIGH LIMIT highest rated in this event and merits respect on the pick of his form.
RACE 8 – Time: 09:30 Class 5 Handicap -1400m
Selections: 2/13/5
SABAH STAR has struggled since he was promoted to Class 4. Last run was not too bad, though. Drops back to Class 5 and should be more competitive. SCOOBY DOO was coming to hand but was then tipped out. Has drawn an alley. May need the run, but a forward showing is still on the cards. BOY NEXT DOOR had a few excuses at his last couple of starts. May pop up in this moderate lot. Inside draw will help.
RACE 9 – Time: 10:00 Class 4 Handicap -1700m
Selections: 8/7/3
MATSURIBAYASHI steps up to Class 4 after winning a Class 5 event at his previous start. Has won and performed well in this grade and loves the distance. BORN TO WIN racing very well lately and always around the mark in this grade. With a bit of luck in running can produce a strong finish to win this. VOLUMINOUS she can be a tricky mare to catch at times and looks like she needs everything to go her way. Solid win over 1800m two starts back is good form for here.
Race 10 – Time: 10:30 Class 3 Handicap -1600m

SAVVY COMMAND racing in a good patch of form lately. Won two starts in a row before a very nice second behind Quadcopter in this grade. Big chance here. KING’S COMMAND classy four-year-old who failed to fire last start with a big weight. Conditions suit him here and will be flying home at the finish. Stable in good form. TANGIBLE won a 1700m last start at Class 4 level. Rises in class for his test here and back on the turf where he has been placed at 1600m before.
Race 11 – Time: 11:00 Group 2 -1600m

MR MALEK classy galloper who has returned from a break in great order. Very smart win over 1400m last start and looked sharp winning a trial last week. ROCKET STAR very consistent young horse who has been competing at the highest level lately. Placed in two good Group 1 races that makes him a big threat here. BIG HEARTED winner of last year’s Singapore Gold Cup. Although he won at handicap weights, he does possess some good ability at level weights.
Race 12 – Time: 11:30 Class 4 Handicap -1100m
Selections: 2/5/4
RED ROVER wide barrier will suit him after jockey stated he resented running in among runners last time out. Shadow roll on. Has maintained his form and can bounce back here. SUPER SMART can mix his form but if on song, he is not without a say in this. May find the 1100m a little sharp but if they run along, he can finish off the best. THUNDER last start closing second was a ripper, but his poor Polytrack form is a worry. Was unplaced in three runs on Polytrack. Place claims.
