IN FULL BLOOM has produced two fair runs since the return of racing. She had excuses at the start last time and never got into the race. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She takes a drop in class this afternoon and should be at peak fitness. From her handy barrier position, she should be the one to side with.

TREND MASTER has very good consistent form lines to his credit. The son of Master Of My Fate is unbeaten from two starts over this distance. He does face his toughest test this afternoon, but he looks to have ability and may be up to the task at hand. He does have a wide draw to overcome, but he gets the services of Piere Strydom who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

ILHA DA VARLETTE is the value bet on today’s card. She has been taking on stronger company in recent outings and has continued to drop in the ratings. The 5yo mare won her only start over this C&D. She should be cherry-ripe today and maybe the one to cause the upset.
