Her good draw is a major plus on her track debut and the daughter of Trippi may prove tough to beat.

NTOMA is improving and she has finished close-up in 2nd in her last two comeback runs, the latest of which was over this c & d, four weeks ago. She has drawn better in midfield on her peak run today and could take all the beating.

This is a cracking handicap contest for three-year olds and most eyes will be on the Mike de Kock charge NOAH FROM GOA. The son of Tiger Ridge was making his turf debut when he thrashed a lesser handicap field by just over six lengths over this c & d from a wide draw, three weeks ago. He takes on stronger now but could still be ahead of the handicapper despite the maximum eight pound penalty. He is slightly better drawn today and receives a handy 5.5kgs from his main danger, the top weight BULL VALLEY.

Jockey: Andrew FORTUNE – Trainer: David NIEUWENHUIZEN
SAPSAN is ultra-consistent and she has been facing stronger company for some time now. She produced a strong finish when pipped on the standside track last time but will be much better against her own age group today. The daughter of Lateral deservedly concedes chunks of weight but she has cracked a good draw and she could take a power of beating. She has experience on this tight circuit.

HEARTS ‘R PUMPING probably felt the effects of his exertions in his comeback run, when he faded badly over the mile two weeks ago but that formline could be worth following. The More Than Ready colt races a fortnight later so all is well with the De Kock inmate and he could make significant improvement in this ordinary line-up. He will be cherry-ripe on his third run after the layoff and he has cracked the best draw.
