The main danger comes from Dion Baker who arrives in solid place form with a pair of runner-up efforts in this company at Brighton and Yarmouth.

Bowland Park and Roundabout Silver shouldn’t be ruled out.

Race 7 – ROSE BOLT 5/2

ROSE BOLT scored narrowly at Bath two runs ago attempting a one mile maiden before a seventh on handicap debut on the all-weather at Kempton. A step up in trip, but can improve further.

Put Kentucky Bluegrass and Canadiansmokeshow on your shortlist too.

Starjik and Poseidon Prince should be part of the calculations.

Race 3 – STORMY WAVES 17/10

STORMY WAVES recorded a third over seven furlongs at Doncaster, and could break his maiden at the third attempt.

Blown Away rates highly following a third over seven furlongs at Newmarket three weeks ago.

Let’s Dream and Al Mootamarid are of note.

Race 6 – TOLSTOY 4/1

Tolstoy returned to winning ways with a victory over six furlongs at Brighton, and looks up to completing another victory, if running well at Southwell on Wednesday evening.
