BATH

Race 1 – GALACTIC GLOW 7/2

GALACTIC GLOW is drawing closer to a well-deserved success following two placed efforts that included enjoying the step up to one and a quarter miles when second at Windsor behind the re-opposing Barney’s Angel.

Galactic Glow appears better off at the weights while Barney’s Angel will be aiming for back to back victories after that Windsor success and with a good second at Nottingham two starts back is in the mix.

Dark Gold, who holds each-way claims after a third at Brighton, and Storm Asset are also worth a look.

Race 3 – GO YOUR OWN WAY 4/1

GO YOUR OWN WAY draws closer to a success after three consecutive placings.

Caught the eye when runner-up at Chepstow in latest and tackles a similar test here.

Monks Mead broke through for a victory three outings back and not disgraced since.

Irrelevant carries top weight as a last start winner and impressed with a five length success at Kempton Park AW.

Dainty Lady holds each-way claims after a third at Chelmsford AW.

Race 5 – HEROISM 5/2

Clive Cox’s HEROISM has not lived up to early expectations having been thrown in at the deep end on his second start last year.

Now down to a mark of 77 in the Bet Online At bresbet.com Handicap at Bath, he can start making progress.

Race 7 – CIOTOG 4/1

Ciotog aims for back to back wins following a success over course and distance, he enjoys these conditions and could be in the mix again.

Gone showed a good level of racing when second at Ripon, a similar performance would put her firmly in the mix.

Ardbraccan holds each-way claims based on a good fourth behind the main selection at this track.

UTTOXETER

Race 1 – ISABELLA BEE 5/2

ISABELLA BEE improved from a reappearance fourth finishing runner-up switching to handicap hurdle company.

Is progressing with each run and receives the benefit of apprentice claim.

Pittsburg was denied a hat-trick when second tackling fences at Cartmel in latest outing. Interesting revisiting hurdles with a fair handicap mark.

A Shining Moon holds each-way claims based on a good second over course and distance two starts ago.

Better is expected of Ambassador who completed a double prior to a seventh in these conditions.

Race 2 – CLIMBING 11/2

CLIMBING, joint owned by the Queen, can give the royals a taste of glory and might be worth a nibble each-way.

Shandancer brings the benefit of experience and was tried among handicap hurdle company when third at Worcester two starts ago.

Seinsational caught the eye when second at Worcester before finishing fourth in similar conditions, certainly competitive at this level and could be firmly in the mix.

Race 5 – CAN’T BEAT HISTORY 3/1

CAN’T BEAT HISTORY aims for back-to-back wins after an impressive success at Market Rasen.

He seems to be improving with each outing over fences and has a strong chance.

Ya Know Yaseff does have a tendency to produce jumping errors.

Was last seen scoring at Worcester and is worth considering if able to replicate that level of form.

Sinister Minister placed four times from the past five outings and holds each-way claims.

Race 6 – HORIZON D’OR 1/1

HORIZON D’OR aims for back to back victories after a handicap hurdle success at Fontwell Park, is a proven stayer and makes for plenty of appeal.

Eaton Lady received a two month spell since a good second at Worcester. Is trying a longer distance here and could be interesting fresh.

Jack The Farmer has been in excellent form lately with a win and three seconds from the past four attempts. Is proven at this level.

KEMPTON

Race 1 – ALFRED 5/1

A competitive nursery where it is hard to rule out any of the seven.

Slender preference goes the way of ALFRED who shaped as though he’d improve for this stiffer test of stamina when going down narrowly over 7f at Lingfield on nursery debut.

Primetime won narrowly tackling slightly further at Wolverhampton recently and must be included with Christian Howarth negating the majority of his penalty.

Previous course and distance winner American Tale could feature, while Bulldog Drummond might have more to offer now going up in trip on handicap debut.

Race 4 – HIGH HANDED 18/10

There was plenty to like about a HIGH HANDED debut fourth over course and distance.

The daughter of Siyouni did well from an uncompromising position under hands and heels riding and can take a sizeable step forward.

Similar comments apply to the sixth-placed horse that day Allonsy who kept on nicely despite showing distinct signs of greenness.

Newcomer Sighter makes for plenty of appeal on paper, while Star Music should also be considered.

Race 6 – TRUST HOUSE 4/1

Ralph Beckett can continue his excellent recent form when TRUST HOUSE runs in the Unibet Support Safe Gambling Maiden Stakes.

By one of Beckett’s favourite sires in Lope De Vega, the three-year-old has obviously had an issue or two because he has only made it to the track twice.

However, there has been plenty of promise to suggest he is well up to winning a race and with the yard in such good shape, now is the perfect time to strike.

Unraced at two, he made his debut at Newbury in April when fourth of five to Military Order who went on to run in the Derby.

Exoplanet was second and filled the same spot in the Hampton Court at Royal Ascot and the Leger-bound Chesspiece was third, so there is very little wrong with the form.

He then ran the following month at Nottingham in another hot event won by Perfuse, now rated 93, but the heavy ground took a toll and he was well beaten into third.

Given plenty of time since and stepped up in trip, he is likely to improve further being related to a Leger winner in Galileo Chrome.

Race 7 – MORDOR 4/1

David Simcock’s MORDOR could have been let in the Unibet More Boosts In More Races Handicap lightly given how his last race has worked out.

By the late stallion Roaring Lion, he ran well enough on debut in fifth and was then third at Newcastle. But it is his Doncaster run in a valuable novice that stands out.

It was won by Sweet William, who has since won big pots at Newbury and Goodwood before being touched off in the Ebor by an inspired Frankie Dettori on Absurde.

Mordor was beaten over eight lengths but there is plenty of scope off a mark of 74 for him to improve significantly.

SOUTHWELL

Race 2 – KING OF SCOTIA 25/2

It is probably worth looking to see what Saffie Osborne is riding given her record in the competition and that she is on course to retain her title.

Sticking out like a sore thumb is KING OF SCOTIA, trained by her father, Jamie, and having his first run for 109 days.

Osborne senior recently stated he had a few aces up his sleeve for the final night and this could be one in the William Hill Enhanced Odds Every Day Racing League Race 37 Handicap.

Race 4 – TOLSTOY  13/2

TOLSTOY showed good form prior to a ninth over five furlongs at Newcastle.

Should deliver a victory with a return to this trip in his favour.

Amazonian Dream showed up well when a neck second in a six furlong handicap at Goodwood and could prove dangerous.

Nordic Passage and BillyJoh also shouldn’t be ruled out.

Race 5 – ZAIN NIGHTS 6/1

Osborne later rides ZAIN NIGHTS for Harry and Roger Charlton and he is another worth close consideration after a two length success in a Goodwood handicap.

Threats include Blazeon Five who won by a head racing from mid-division in a two mile handicap at Ascot.

Sea Stone is also expected to put in a bold showing after completing a double at Newmarket and Kempton in August.

Race 7 – REGAL EMPIRE 11/2

It might just be that James Tate’s REGAL EMPIRE can defy a 5lb rise for winning a good prize at Ascot last time out in the William Hill Epic Value Racing League Race 42 Handicap.
