SUPREME DANCE was a tad disappointing in his last start over this C&D. His debut effort when finishing second behind Sea Virescent was eye-catching over 1160m at Turffontein. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena steps back into the saddle and in this type of field, he should be the one to beat.
Race 5: DON’T LOOK BACK (5)
Jockey: Khumalo S – Trainer: Gray St John
DON’T LOOK BACK has won his last three starts for the St John Gray stable with ease, the latest of which was over this distance. The son of Judpot may still be ahead of the handicapper and should notch up his sixth career victory.
Race 6: DR DOOLITTLE (1)
Jockey: Kennedy W – Trainer: Peter P
DR DOOLITTLE is much better than his last start in the Grade 3 Sea Cottage Stakes. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He won his only attempt over this C&D in his penultimate start. The son of Ideal World takes a drop in class and may be too good for this field.

UN DEUX TROIS should have finished closer in her last start as her pilot dropped his crop at the 300m mark. She has finished third in both her efforts over this C&D. The daughter of Coup De Grace drops in class today and with S’manga Khumalo in the saddle, she may be the one to side with.
