The runner-up March Music was narrowly defeated subsequently but this daughter of Pathfork is really well in at the weights and she can again produce the goods in mixed company.

Just seven entrants head to post for this competitive and most intriguing handicap where a likely sedate gallop is expected to be set by the solitary natural frontrunner SILVER BLADE. This four-year old seemed over his issues as he ran on well to win his recent start over further on the polytrack and he can raise his game at this much higher level. The chestnut son of Jay Peg will be partnered by the red-hot stable jockey. That said, he will get plenty of competition from the first selection PAPER TOWN who also had an eye-catching last c & d run and may still be ahead of the handicapper after the three pound hike. This Bezrin gelding can race close to the pace.
