She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

BAVARIAN JET is one of the better bets on today’s card. She set the pace over 1400m on the polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Ladyhawke. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Pomodoro tries the mile for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she can shed her maiden tag.

EASY LIVING won a good race in her last start over 1100m on the polytrack. The manner in which she quickened up and drew clear of the opposition was encouraging. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory and back on the turf, she should run a big race.

GOLD ROCK finished 2.2 lengths behind MOON GAME last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from six starts over this C&D. The 6yo gelding jumps from a good draw of four and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
