SILENT STARSHIP loves this c & d and he handled the steep rise in class well albeit when sharing first position with his well-performed stable companion Pont Du Gard (runs in race 4) two weeks ago. He deservedly earned a six pound hike but drops considerably in class and can complete the hat-trick from a favourable barrier position.

ANAAR KALEE has achieved both her career victories over this c & d and she may have just needed her fair comeback effort in a similar line-up three weeks ago. That formline hasn’t been inspiring since but this daughter of Tiger Ridge will strip fitter and she should still be competitive from her good draw.

MANOUCHE coped well with this distance as he ran on strongly for 3rd in much stronger company a fortn- ight ago. Of course he wasn’t penalized due to the technicality and is well-handicapped despite top weight against today’s lesser rivals. The chestnut gelding should go very well.
