MYELISHA posted two pleasing comeback runs following the 21 week absence and she can go one better than her last start on her peak showing today. It is worth noting that her jockey partnered her principle danger, the Highveld raider, PROMISE to a much improved last showing in mixed company at the Vaal in the spring. The latter hasn’t raced for 13 weeks since but her conditioner gets them ready.

Of course the latter quickened smartly from off the pace whilst the former was finding some traffic issues that day and things could be much different over the extra furlong today. It is really encouraging that top rider Hewitson keeps faith with the former who has his peak outing.
