FIREWOOD showed little signs of fatigue when he ran on well for a close 3rd behind subsequent winner Tripandie over this c & d in his comeback run, nine weeks ago. He will be fitter now and should stake a serious claim from the best draw.
Race 9: STREETS OF GOLD(3)
STREETS OF GOLD has made smart improvement since being equipped with cheek pieces and she could be the right one in this final event. The daughter of Bankable finished a good 2nd behind a fair sort over this c & d in her penultimate outing and followed that up with an equally solid effort under Delpech on the grass, three weeks ago.

The daughter of Lateral was thereabouts for quite some time prior to that and she has a victory on this track to her credit. She gets the expert services of Marwing and gets the first verdict.
