The Danny Shum-trained COMET SPLENDIDO ran on nicely to win his last start. He comes in at the top of the weights and the booking of Zac Purton to ride is encouraging. SURE JOYFUL is better than his below-par last effort. He has cracked a neat draw and can find a form return in this type of field.

LEAN MASTER won his last start defeating Scotch Tycoon. He remains in Class 4 and will be looking to make it quick back-to-back wins. ONE FOR ALL produced a fair last effort behind Packing Power. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and can challenge the top selection.

SETANTA finished a neck behind Comet Splendido last time and it will be interesting to see if the form line is given a boost in Race 3. CAN’T GO WONG doesn’t know how to run a bad race. He is nicely handicapped and can notch up his fourth career victory. ATOMIC BEAUTY has decent form lines to his credit and can feature if overcoming the wide draw.

SCOTCH TYCOON has placed in his last two starts under Luke Ferraris. He has cracked a neat draw and should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. TALENTS SUPREMO has fair recent form lines to his credit. He is nicely handicapped and can give the top selection a good run for his money.

COPARTNER PRANCE has won his last five starts on the trot. He is unbeaten under Zac Purton and could be one of the better bets on the card. GUMMY GUMMY finished 2.5 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is nicely weighted and should be really competitive in this Class 2 contest.

KYRUS DRAGON was beaten narrowly by HAPPY FAT CAT last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits.
