SELUKWE had to overcome a wide draw of thirteen in his last start over 2000m and stayed on to finish third. His penultimate run when finishing second over this distance, catches the eye. He moved up like a winner that day, but was caught in the shadow of the post by Rockpool. The son of Pomodoro has cracked a good draw of three and he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

GOLD POKER GAME was ultra-impressive when winning her last start over 1600m on the Winter course. The manner in which she quickened up and drew off in the closing stages was encouraging.
