HAPPY JAI JAI finished positively behind pacesetter Jade Phoenix last time and is a genuine contender in this opening contest.

LONDON LUCKYSTAR beat MEDIC ELITE to win his last start. He is in search of a hat-trick and is only 2kgs worse off at the weights. MISTER ARM finished his race off well last time and should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest.
13:30 – Race 3 | Class 5 | 1200m

HEARTY WISH set a good pace last time when caught late by Happily Friends. Top Aussie female jockey Kah takes the ride and she can make her presence felt with a horse that has decent form lines to his credit. The speed is likely to be on with U W BROTHER in this contest and he could be one to fill the exacta spot.
14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1000m

FARIBAULT stayed on strongly behind Amazing Rocky last time. He is a consistent sort and Chadwick will be looking to earn Team Hong Kong some valuable points in the International Jockeys Challenge. FORTE is the class horse in the race and is difficult to oppose. The only concern is that he hasn’t raced since July.
14:40 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1650m

SPICY GRILL was help up at a crucial stage last time and finished his race off strongly. He has cracked a much better draw and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. STAR CONTACT was beaten just over a length by the progressive Accelerando last time and this chestnut should give the top selection a good run for his money.
15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m

HOWDEEPISYOURLOVE managed to finish in front of GOLD GOLD BABY in his debut effort. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line. SUNNY AND GOLD was narrowly beaten by MEGA BONUS last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror.
15:40 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1650m

PACKING FAMOUS was beaten a neck by THE ANOMALY before a short break. He is 1kg better off at the weights and merits respect with current Hong Kong Jockey Purton in the saddle. RISING FROM ASHES raced too wide into the straight last time. He has cracked pole and should be one of the leading contenders.
16:10 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1200m

XPONENTIAL tracked the leader and fought gamely in his last start. He is nicely handicapped and can earn his fifth career victory. HERE COMES TED produced a fair comeback run when just under two lengths behind the top selection. He gets the services of Japanase wizard Kawada and will strip a much fitter horse. ADIOS was a beaten favourite behind GOLD MARQUIS last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and should give another good account of himself.
16:55 – Race 9 | Class 2 | 1800m

RISE BRETHREN was only beaten by a length by Running Glory last time despite taking a bump in the straight. He has cracked a neat draw and looks one of the better bets on the card. PACKING AWARD showed good guts and determination to win his last start. He should appreciate the extra 150m on offer and is a genuine contender in the lucky last.
