MICROBE has won two of her last three starts over the c&d and raced with a slipped saddle in the other race, so that run is best ignored. She is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys and does have a wide draw to negotiate, but she should ensure that the males know that they have been in a race here.

The in-form Alan Greeff yard sends out half the field in this race and the best could be CAPTAIN’S PRINCESS who will be partnered by stable jockey Greg Cheyne. She has her second start for her new conditioner after running on well in her first outing over six furlongs. She lost a length at the jump that day, but if getting away on terms this afternoon, she looks to be the one to side with here.
