Race 5
WOOLLAHRA LASS is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she was trapped wide before finishing second last time out over five furlongs, just under a length behind the winner. She stayed on well that day and should have no issue going the extra ground. KRUANUI goes for his hat-trick here after chalking up his last two victories over six furlongs and should keep the top choice honest. ESTAVERDI is a 3yr old filly who finished seventh last time out, 3.9L behind the winner when returning from a 27-week break. She has gate four and if not in need of one more run, she could trouble the top two selections. FASHION TIP is a 5yr old mare who raced wide in her last start over 1175m. She is drawn out wide at gate two, but with a bit of luck in running, she could be involved in the finish today.

Race 6
A 3yr old filly and a 5yr old mare could dominate the finish to this race and complete the exacta here. STAR OF TENNESSEE won by nearly five lengths over 900M in heavy going at only the second time of asking and could be almost anything. She steps up to five furlongs but gets to jump from gate six and looks to be the one that they all have to beat. DIZZY MISS LIZZY just failed to hold off the late challengers to finish fourth last time out over this distance. She is drawn one inside the former and could be the biggest threat to the top pick. SUPEROO overraced when disappointing last time out over 1175M and that effort is best ignored. He will have 3kgs taken off his back thanks to his claiming apprentice, which will help his cause.

Race 7
ASSAULT’N’BATHORY likes to race up with the leaders and finished second in his last outing over 1608M. He is sure to put his pole position to good use and will also have the blinkers re-fitted for today’s run. He does drop back in trip but may prove difficult to reel in over the latter stages of the race. REAL KEY on the other hand will have to start from the widest draw of sixteen, but he did win his last start over six furlongs at this venue and should be picking off the frontrunners in the dash down to the wire. GENTLEMAN MAX also has a wide draw of thirteen to negotiate but seems certain to enjoy the drop in distance from his last outing over a mile.

Race 8
JUNGLE BOOK has won three on the bounce, the last two over ten furlongs at this track. He finished strongly in those victories suggesting that the extra ground on offer here will be to his liking. He starts from a handy gate four and looks to be the one to side with here. APEROL SPRINT is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she is looking to complete her hat-trick today. She chased down the leaders well when winning her last two outings over ten furlongs and should be right up there in the firing line. DEXLUTHER finished second in his last outing over 2140M in soft going when friendless in the betting markets. If the gelding is able to reproduce that effort, he could threaten the top two selections. ROLAND GARROS also finished second in his last start, this time over ten furlongs, just under two lengths back. He is drawn wideout at fifteen, but he like to race from the front, so this may not be too big an issue.
