Race 6
A 6yr old mare and a 4yr old filly could fight out the finish and complete the exacta. MISS SKEPTICAL finished third last time out over this trip, two and a half lengths behind the winner. She stayed on strongly that day and despite having a wideish draw nine, she looks to be the one to side with here. LA LUCCIOLA hit the front at the 200M mark, but then could not keep the chasing winner at by before ending of just a length back over the 1300M. See jumps from gate seven and could threaten the top choice. GHOST DOCTOR made good late progress despite hanging in the latter stages when finishing fourth last time out over seven furlongs. She has a kinder draw three and should be involved in the finish today.
Race 7
CINCINNATI RED Is a six-year-old mare taking on the boys, but she is a speedy sort who did not enjoy the soft going last time out over 1150M. She returns from a 24-week break without having the benefit of a barrier trial, but she seems likely to improve on better track conditions. She is drawn wideout at gate thirteen, but she should give the males a good run for their money. SKY ROYALE stayed on well to win his last start over 1216M by a head. He has cracked pole position and will have 2kgs taken off his back thank to his claiming apprentice. INSIDE EDGE is a 4-year-old filly who was slightly disappointing last time out over 1500M, but won her penultimate start over seven furlongs and should appreciate the drop-in trip.

Race 8
WIND FORCE has pulled pole position and is a speedy sort who was only run out of it late to finish fourth last time out over six furlongs on the synthetic track. The drop-in distance is sure to be to his liking and his form on the grass is solid. FREE FOLK won on debut over 1100M and then disappointed next time out over seven furlongs. He was immediately rested for 20 weeks and makes his return here without having had a barrier trial. On his first outing performance, he is sure to enjoy going the shorter trip. He gets a handy draw five. HORTENSE is a four-year-old filly taking on males, but she also has good early toe and finished seventh last time out over 1130M when returning from an 18-week break. She jumps from gate seven and if not in need of one more run, she should be right up there in the mix.
Race 9
CHATELAINE is a 5yr old mare tailing on boys. She made good late progress when ending up in third place in her last outing over this c&d. The form of that race has been franked and from a handy drawn four, she is taken to be the best bet on today’s card. ONE HELLOFA FAMILY stayed on well when third last time out over seven furlongs, 3.7L back from the victor. He will have to negotiate a wide draw of fifteen and steps up in distance her, but he may well be looking for his greater test of stamina. HE’S WOW CLASS Followed up his penultimate run victory over 2100M with a fifth-place finish next time out over this trip in heavy going. From gate eight he should be right up there in the firing line.
