This is a most intriguing topliner on the day as none of the seven entrants are comfortable dictating terms. However, the four-year old EARTH HOUR displayed his swift turn of foot in recent starts and the likely sedate gallop won’t affect the chances of the son of Lateral. Of course he worked hard for a narrow c & d victory over lesser opposition early last month. He quickened really smartly when pipped in his penultimate run. He should rise to this stronger challenge, having been narrowly defeated by subsequent winner NEW CALEDONIA (2kgs worse off) over this c & d earlier this campaign.

The likely sedate gallop in this small field won’t be an issue for the smart daughter of Dynasty.
