Interestingly, top jockey Brandon Lerena has favoured her over QUEEN DIVA whom he partnered in three consecutive starts recently.

PRIME SUSPECT was running on steadily for 3rd on his fair debut in yielding conditions over seven furlongs on this course in early December. He was well beaten that day but was just under two lengths adrift of the runner-up Scarrabeast (won next time out) and should make natural improvement today. The extra furlong will suit trainer Mark Dixon’s charge who now gets the services of in-form jockey Delpech.

HIS LEGACY is a lightly raced five-year-old gelding who bounced back to his best form with an eye-catching last effort on the polytrack. The former Gauteng resident has acclimatised well in this province and he is equally effective on the grass. He will prefer the mile today and can stake a serious claim from the best draw on his track debut. He was rather surprisingly docked a pound in his merit rating after that last effort.

The classy LONDON CALL ended the year with impressive back-to-back victories at this venue, the latest over seven furlongs. The son of Kahal is undoubtedly at his best when sprinting though and his c & d record bears testament to that. He is well in at the weights on his merit rating today and has strong claims of completing the hat-trick.
SILVERY DREAM is better than the fair form she displayed on the polytrack at Greyville and she would have benefitted from the 15-week absence. She had some useful prior performances against smart sorts on the Highveld and will enjoy returning to the grass today. The daughter of Silvano continues to drop in the merit ratings and she has lively claims from her good draw.
