The extremely well-bred OSPREY failed to quicken when perhaps given a soft ride in a competitive field on her handicap debut four weeks ago but she will strip fitter today and is sure to love the mile. The switch to the grass will suit the daughter of Silvano who could pay to follow. It is worth noting that top jockey Delpech has the preference between the top selection and her market rival NORTHERN CHORUS as he is retained by the connections of both rivals.
Race 7: JAY JAY’S GIRL(4)
JAY JAY’S GIRL is an above-average type who has some niggles but she produced a high-quality comeback run after a 24-week absence. The bay filly ran on steadily to finish just out of the money in a competitive field on the polytrack and she will strip fitter here. She won’t have an issue returning to the grass and proved particularly effective when thrashing her opposition with frontrunning tactics in her maiden victory at her penultimate attempt. The daughter of Jay Peg could enjoy a soft lead in today’s event and she can cause the upset.
