Race 1 

Selections: 7/6/4

YES WE CAN was beaten just under a length on this course last time out and is the narrow first selection in this opening contest. He meets RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line.

RUN THE TABLE has attractive recent form lines and it will be no surprise to see him in the winner’s enclosure. The only concern is that he may prefer racing on the turf.

Race 2

Selections: 5/6/9

THUNDERSTRIKE produced a good comeback run on this course when 2.5 lengths behind Quadruple Double. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and will have plenty of followers.

TURBO POWER has decent recent form lines to his credit. He tries the All Weather for the first-time and if suited to the surface can give a good account of himself.

Race 3

Selections: 2/4/6

CAMPIONE is unbeaten on this course and is the class horse in the race. He finished runner-up behind a top sort in his comeback run and looks one of the better bets on the card.

SILVER FIG finished four lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 5.5kgs better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result.

Race 4

Selections: 1/2/12

WINWIN THIRTYTHREE was an impressive comeback winner over this C&D. He remains in class 5 and can make it quick back to back wins.

AURORA HERO finished 3.5 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights and the pair should finish closer together this time around.

UW BROTHER finished a length in-front of G ONE EXCELLENT last time and if confirming his recent improvement could be one to fill the trifecta spot. 

Race 5 

Selections: 13/11/6

KING OF THE COLTS was beaten just under a length on this course last time out. He comes in at the bottom of the weights and it is encouraging that De Sousa has kept faith in the ride.

HAPPY TRIO is the stable companion to the top selection. He would have strengthened during the break and could be one to cause an upset in this type of field.

Race 6     

Selections: 11/8/6

BLOTTING PAPER won his last start in style on this course. He shoulders a handy galloping weight and should take a power of beating if not in need of the run.

HELENE WISDOM STAR produced a fair comeback run on this course. He will appreciate the step up in distance and can challenge the top selection.

Race 7  

Selections: 6/3/5

INDIGENOUS REALM ran on nicely from off the pace last time when beaten 1.5 lengths by Baebae Tsoi.

He finished a couple of lengths behind HK DRAGON is his penultimate start, is now 2kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits.

WIDE BLUE YONDER was a beaten favourite last time out and despite coming in at the top of the weights will be looking to make amends.

Race 8  

Selections: 9/4/8

MAN STAR finished three lengths in-front of CZARSON last time out. He is 1kg worse off at the weights and that may not be enough to turn the tables.

LIKE THAT’S last good run came on the All Weather and he is capable of bouncing back to some of his best form lines.

Race 9

Selections: 14/13/9

RED TITAN went forward from a wide draw last time when caught late by Mr Ascendency. He will strip much fitter and is a talent on the ride.

ERIMO finished two lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and the booking of Purton to ride suggests he is fit and ready now.

CIRCUIT NINE has won both starts and rises in class but may be up to the task at hand.

Race 10

Selections: 14/6/2

GALAXY WITNESS was beaten before the break by All For St Paul’s who has since franked the form. This Fownes trained inmate has won four of his five career attempts and will be looking to return to winning ways.

PACKING VICTORY finished right behind SAUVESTRE over this C&D last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and are both strong contenders.

THE GOLDEN SCENERY is nicely weighted with an apprentice up and is another horse that must be considered in the lucky last.
