TSUEN WAN GLORY has won his last two starts under Matthew Chadwick. He remains in Class 5 and should give another honest performance. YOUNG HORIZON showed good improvement when beaten a nose in his last start and the booking of Zac Purton to ride is a big plus.

SWEET DIAMOND has some decent form lines to his credit. He meets a weak field and should be one of the leading contenders. SMART LEADER has been improving with each outing under Keagan de Melo and it will be no surprise to see him in the winners’ enclosure. NOBLE ONE is next best.

07:45 – Race 3 | Class 2 | 1600m

Selections: 7/4/5

SUPERB BOY finished a couple of lengths behind MUGEN in his penultimate start. He is 5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. FLAMING RABBIT is better than his recent form and he can run into the placings.

08:15 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1000m

METRO WARRIOR drops back into Class 4 and is the tentative first selection. PROSECCO was beaten the narrowest of margins in his comeback effort. He comes in with a light weight and it is encouraging that Karis Teetan has kept faith in the ride. FLYING PHANTOM must also be included.

09:10 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1400m

Selections: 3/12/10

GOLDEN RISE finished 2.5 lengths behind subsequent winner Patch Of Theta last time. He has decent form lines to his credit and should be one of the leading contenders. BRAVE WITNESS produced a fair last effort under Keagan de Melo. He is having his first run at Sha Tin and if suited, he should be involved in the outcome of this contest.

09:40 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1400m

Selections: 3/9/11

VOYAGE SAMURAI showed that his debut win was no fluke when he finished 1.5 lengths behind Patch Of Theta. He comes in at the top of the weights and merits healthy respect. RIVER VIEWS is much better than his last start and he can feature with better luck in running. PATCH OF TIME has fair form lines to his credit and can feature if overcoming the wide draw.

10:10 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1400m

Selections: 4/11/1

SUPERB KID produced a fair last effort behind Blue Marlin. He is nicely handicapped and can notch up his third career victory. BEAUTY MISSILE has placed in his last two starts over 1200m and may be suited to the step up in distance. HUGE WAVE turned his form around last time and a repeat of that effort should see him finish in the money.

10:40 – Race 8 | Class 4 | 1200m

Selections: 1/14/3

YOU’REMYEVERYTHING has been narrowly beaten in his last three runs. He reunites with apprentice Chung and can go close to winning this contest. STRATHPEFFER finished a length behind Oriental Smoke last time. He comes in with a light weight and Harry Bentley may be able to coax a little extra out of him where it matters most.

11:15 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1600m

Selections: 13/8/3

WINNING DATA is in a rich vein of form and has been ultra-impressive throughout the season. He may still be ahead of the handicapper and looks one of the better bets on the card. BEATO finished a length behind FRANTANCK last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror.

11:50 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1200m

Selections: 7/1/8

JAMES TAK has shown that he is quite useful. He finished a neck behind Baby Crystal last time and should give another good account of himself. GORGEOUS WIN has reeled off three wins under Zac Purton this season and may be the biggest danger to the top selection. The grey KAHOLO ANGEL caught the eye with a good second-place finish last time and he must also be strongly considered in the lucky last!
