DIAMOND WINNER has decent form in this grade. He has been finishing off his races well under Antoine Hamelin and the combination merits healthy respect. MIGHTY STAR showed good improvement last time with Keagan de Melo in the saddle and a repeat of that effort should see him feature in this opening contest.
13:10 – Race 2 | Class 5 | 1200m

DOUBLE SHOW is a winner already this season and holding his condition well. He finished half a length behind Hercules in his last start and should give another good account of himself. NOIR RIDER finished a length behind the top selection in the race mentioned above. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line.
13:40 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1000m

OVERSUBSCRIBED was just beaten by CIRCUIT SEVEN last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. LEAN MASTER comes in with a handy galloping weight and can enter the frame. SUPER FAST DRAGON is next best.
14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1650m

STURDY RUBY finished off his race positively last time and it is encouraging that Zac Purton has kept faith in the ride. ATOMIC BEAUTY has placed in his last three runs. He is nicely weighted with apprentice Angus Chung aboard and can finish in the money. DRAGON STAR rarely runs a bad race and he must also be included in all bets.
14:40 – Race 5 | Class 3 | 1200m
Selections: 5/3/6
RAGING BLIZZARD produced a fair effort from a wide draw last time. He is still improving with racing and it will be no surprise to see him in the winners’ enclosure. HEALTHY HEALTHY has a solid record over this course and distance. He was beaten by the narrowest of margins last time and will be looking to make amends.
15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m
Selections: 2/9/1
SUPER JOY N FUN caught the eye in his debut victory. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and can make it quick back-to-back wins. CRYSTAL POWERFUL has recorded two wins this season under Andrea Atzeni. He has cracked pole and can give the top selection a good run for his money. TELECOM SPEED won his last start comfortably under Hugh Bowman and merits respect.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1650m
Selections: 4/7/3
M UNICORN is a four-time winner this season. He has ascended rapidly in the ratings and will have plenty of followers. AESTHETICISM finished 2.2 lengths behind EIGHTEEN PALMS in his last run. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them at the wire.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1200m
Selections: 8/2/3
DENFIELD’S second career victory when partnered with Zac Purton catches the eye. He was beaten just under a length in his last start and Hong Kong’s champion jockey may be able to coax a little bit extra out of him where it matters most. JOYFUL HUNTER has mixed form but can feature if bringing his A-game.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 4 | 1200m

KING ECCELLENTE has finished close-up behind the winner in his last three outings under Karis Teetan. He is nicely handicapped and looks to be one of the better bets on the card. BEAUTY INFINITY finished a nose behind Super Joy N Fun in his last start and it will be intriguing to see if the form line is given a boost in Race 6.
