GOTTALOTTALUV has clearly improved with the blinkers fitted and although she has been penalised by the handicapper for those latest two wins on the trot, she still looks well in here. She steps out for a yard that is bang in form and must be respected.

The well bred Dynasty gelding, PROTEA PARADISE was an impressive winner in his latest effort as a gel- ding. The stable elect from the in form De Kock yard has a tricky draw to negotiate but has most of the main dangers held on that penultimate run and he is hard to oppose with Lerena retaining the ride.

BASILIUS has fared very well in both his visits to this course recently. The winner of his penultimate start has won again and the winner of his last start needs no introduction, being a Gr1 winner. A re- peat of his last effort should make him a factor here.
