The son of Oratorio meets the right field this afternoon and Gavin Lerena may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

TYRCONNELL was a tad disappointing in his last start on the Turffontein Inside course. That run may have been too soon after his previous good second-place finish. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. The son of The United States is a horse with ability and if putting his best foot forward, he should win a race of this nature.
