THAT’S LIFE had an improved last effort albeit when 2nd best behind subsequent winner Sirtain over this distance and the 3rd placed entrant Dan’s Empire had a creditable subsequent display in a decent field. This chestnut son of Var is clearly progressive and he holds strong claims in this weaker line- up.

TANDAVA had an excellent fortnight last month when he produced two high quality five furlong displays, showing his versatility. He was just over one length adrift of the in-form veteran speedster GREASEPAINT in that last feature and despite meeting on similar weight terms, the five-year old can turn that formline around.

The consistent and improving three-year old ANGELIC had an eye-catching handicap debut over nine furlongs last month. She was returning from a ten week break so will strip fitter and clearly has scope for progress. The extra furlong should suit her. The four-year old END GAME has decent credentials and the Tarry inmate is well-handicapped, conceding just 1kg to the top selection.
