TRIP TO PARADISE has remained consistent and despite a change in tactics in an all apprentice affair over a mile recently, the Trippi gelding fought on gamely for a close 2nd. He was only upped a pound as a consequence and is ideally suited to this shorter trip. He is the stable’s only representative on the day and can go one better.

This is a competitive handicap with riding engagements from the Houdalakis yard being rather interest- ing as the stable jockey Karl Zechner has opted for TEENAGE DREAM as opposed to BRAXTON who produced a high quality recent effort. That said, the former has a solid c & d record and she drops heavily in class after contesting back-to-back features. She finished a creditable two lengths adrift of the subsequent Grade 1 runner Al Danza prior to that.
