TERMS AND CONDITIONS
7 December 2020 – 10 January 2021
1.The OWNPAY Festive Season Competition(“the Competition”)
runs from 7 December 2020 at 00:00 to 10 January 2021 at 23:59 (“the promotional period”).
2. In order to
participate in the Competition, contestants must make a
deposit with a minimum value of R100 on any of the Hollywoodbets website platforms
into their Hollywoodbets online account by using the OWNPAY Platform during the
promotional period (“qualifying deposit”).
3. For all
winners selected, Hollywoodbets will issue the winner with a R1000 Takealot
voucher (“the prize”).
4. There are five
(5) prizes in total, split into one (1) prize per calendar week of the
promotional period.
5. The winners
will be selected randomly via a draw from all qualifying deposits.
6. Draws will
take place on the 14th December 2020; 21st December 2020;
28th December 2020, 4th January 2021 and the 12th
January 2021.
7.An unlimited
number of deposits with a minimum value of R100 each can be made during the
promotional period in order to qualify for a prize.
8. Contestants
must be over the age of 18 years to participate in the Competition.
9. The
Competition is valid for all Hollywoodbets customers who hold an online betting
account.
10. There are no
entry fees to participate in this Competition.
11. By entering the Competition, you agree:
a. that Hollywoodbets
may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the
Competition; and
b. to receiving
communication from Hollywoodbets sponsors and partners.
12. It is the
responsibility of the contestant to ensure that their deposit is received by
OWNPAY prior to the end of the promotional period. Any deposits that are not
received during the promotional period will not be considered a qualifying
deposit.
13. The prizes are not
transferable and they may not be changed or exchanged in any part.
14.OWNPAY will
provide Hollywoodbets with the selected winners’ transaction IDs from each
draw. Hollywoodbets will then retrieve each winner’s contact details associated
with the transaction ID in order to inform the individual of their winnings.
15. If
Hollywoodbets is unable to contact any winner within three (3) working days
after the draw, such winner will forfeit his or her prize and a new winner will
be selected.
16.Hollywoodbets
and OWNPAY reserve the right not to award prizes should irregular activities be
noted.
17. The winners agree to
take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their names and
photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation
in any such promotional activities.
18. Hollywoodbets,
OWNPAY and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone
or terminate the Competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or
any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such
event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against
Hollywoodbets, OWNPAY or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will
not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets, OWNPAY or
its authorised agents.
19. Every contestant
participating in the Competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and
accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
20. This Competition is
closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents
or consultants of Hollywoodbets and OWNPAY or any other person who directly or
indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets and OWNPAY or marketing
service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate
family members of all of the above.
21. By entering and
participating and/or accepting any prize, the contestant, participants, users
and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets and
OWNPAY (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its
directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any
actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim
and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or
indirectly, from participation in the Competition, and/or the use, acceptance
or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a
prize-related activity.
22. Hollywoodbets and
OWNPAY do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether
expressly or implied, as to a prize, and in particular, but without limitation,
makes no representations and gives no warranty that a contestants entry or
participation in the Competition will necessarily result in such contestant
winning a prize or that a prize, or any aspect thereof, will meet a contestants
requirements, preferences, standards or expectation.
23. These terms and
conditions are available on the Hollywoodbets website platform.
24. Companies in the
