Friday 5 June

Freiburg 34/10
Draw 29/10
Monchengladbach 15/20
(20:30)

Freiburg have won one, drawn three and lost four of their last eight league appearances, losing three of their last four at home, but they’ve won their last three home meetings against Borussia Monchengladbach. The Foals have won three, drawn one and lost two of their last six league games, while away from home. They have won three and drawn two of their last five away league encounters. Borussia Monchengladbach to win at 15/20 looks the right call, while I also fancy Monchengladbach to Score in Both Halves at 29/20. Borussia Monchengladbach to Win and Both Teams to Score at 2/1 looks the value bet.

Saturday 6 June

Leverkusen 9/2
Draw 39/10
Bayern Munich 5/10
(15:30)

Bayer Leverkusen have won seven, drawn one and lost one of their last nine league fixtures, while winning four and losing to Wolfsburg in their last five home league matches. Bayern have won 14 and drawn one of their last 15 league outings, winning their last seven away from home and they have kept five clean sheets in their last six league appearances. Bayern to win at 5/10 is an obvious call but that’s no real value and so is Bayern to Win by More than 1 Goal at even money. I wouldn’t stop you backing Bayern to keep another clean sheet at 2/1, which looks a great shout on current form, even though I fancy Leverkusen’s form. Leverkusen have scored in 20 of their last 22 home league appearances, so I’m going for Draw/Away/Both Teams to Score in the 2nd Half at 7/4.

Eintracht Frankfurt 1/1

Draw 26/10
Mainz 49/20
(15:30)

Eintracht Frankfurt were superb when beating Werder Bremen 3-0 away on Wednesday and on that performance, this should be another easy victory. Mainz have won only once in their last eight league fixtures, while away from home, they have won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five, conceding in each game. With Dutch striker Bas Dost expected to start, Eintracht to win at 19/20 is the right way to go, while Eintracht to Score in Both Halves at 31/20 is also worth looking at. The value bet has to be Eintracht Frankfurt to Win by More Than 1 Goal at 22/10.

Fortuna Dusseldorf 17/10

Draw 51/20
Hoffenheim 29/20
(15:30)

Fortuna Dusseldorf are 18th (3rd bottom) but they have won two, drawn four and lost to Bayern Munich in their last seven league encounters, while winning one, drawing three and losing one of their last five at home. Hoffenheim have won their last two league matches, while away from home, they have won one and drawn three of their last 4 – scoring in all 4. Hoffenheim are seventh and in E/L contention, so 29/20 on the away victory looks a fair price but I expect a cagey first half, so 13/10 for the draw looks worth an interest and so does No First-Half Goal at 2/1. I think things will open up in the 2nd Half, so Draw/Away/Both Teams to Score at 26/10 is my play. Draw/Hoffenheim at 52/10 could be looking at.

Leipzig 1/7

Draw 7/1
Paderborn 14/1
(15:30)

RB Leipzig are 3rd and have won four and drawn six of their last 10 league outings but worryingly, they have won one, drawn three and lost one of their last five home league appearances, drawing the last three. Paderborn are 18th (bottom) and have not won in their last 10 league fixtures, while drawing three and losing two of their last five away from home. This looks an absolute penalty kick for RB Leipzig but the odds on all the markets are restricted. Will Paderborn score? That is the question. I am saying they will grab a consolation late on, so Paderborn to Score in the 2nd Half Goal at 16/10 is my call, while Both Teams to Score in the 2nd Half at 21/10 will improve your odds slightly.

Dortmund 7/20
Draw 17/4
Hertha Berlin 6/1
(18:30)

Borussia Dortmund are flying and have won seven and lost to Bayern Munich in their last eight league games. Hertha Berlin, under their new manager, have won three and drawn one of their last four league encounters, while away from home, they have won four and drawn three of their last seven. Dortmund to Win by More than 1 Goal at 17/20 looks too short, so Dortmund to Win + Both Teams to Score at 13/10 looks the right play, as I fancy Hertha to score. The Value bet once again has to be Both Teams to Score in the 2nd Half at 7/4, while Hertha Berlin to Score in the 2nd Half is 23/20.

Sunday 7 June

Werder Bremen 26/10

Draw 49/20
Wolfsburg 1/1
(13:30)

Werder Bremen have won their last four home meetings with Wolfsburg but after watching them lose 3-0 at home to a lethal finishing Eintracht Frankfurt in midweek, they are short of a decent number 9. Wolfsburg continue to be erratic at home but on the road, they have won four and drawn one of their last five league appearances. Werder are in the relegation battle and have to go for it, so Both Teams to Score + Over 2.5 Goals at 23/20 looks the right way to go, especially as Wolfsburg have conceded in 14 of their last 15 League games. Werder Bremen have let me down on too many occasions, so rather take 21/20 on the away victory  or you could go for Wolfsburg to score more than 1.5 goals at the same price.

Union Berlin 7/1

Draw 17/4
Schalke 7/20
(15:30)

Union Berlin have drawn two and lost four of their last six league fixtures, while drawing two and losing two of their last four at home, while Under 2.5 Goals has landed in 8 of their last 10 home league encounters. Schalke have drawn one and lost six of their last seven matches, while away from home, they have drawn three and lost five of their last eight – scoring in only two of them. Union Berlin at 29/20 is worth looking at, especially given their opponents’ poor form but Under 2.5 Goals at 7/10 looks the right call. The draw at 22/10 is the value bet, while 0-0 at 77/10 looks a fair price.

Augsburg 17/10

Draw 5/2
Cologne 29/20
(18:00)

Augsburg have won one, drawn two and lost six of their last nine league outings, while drawing two and losing two of their last four at home. Cologne have drawn two and lost three of their last five league appearances but they have won two and lost two of their last four away from home, while Over 2.5 Goals has landed in the last 12 league games. Goals looks an Aimer here, Both Teams to Score + Over 2.5 Goals at 9/10 is the right call, while Over 3.5 Goals at 17/10 will also have my money. The value call is Both Teams to Score in the 2nd Half at 39/20.

Have a safe and happy punting weekend!
