Italian Serie A: Gameweek 27 Preview

With just a handful of games left, it’s that time of the
season where everything is starting to take shape and we find ourselves asking
if Inter Milan can go all the way, or if they will they get caught by AC Milan
or Juventus? With the top three all needing to win, it should make a good
weekend for punters!

Lazio  3/10
Draw 44/10

Crotone 76/10 (16:00)

Lazio host basement dwellers Crotone in this contest. The hosts are without a win in their last three games while the away side got back to winning ways in their last encounter winning 4-2 against 18th-placed Torino. With the hosts 27 points ahead of their opponents, they should be able to get back to winning ways here. Add the hosts to all multiples!

Atalanta 3/10

Draw 46/10

Spezia 9/1 (21:45)

Atalanta host strugglers Spezia in this encounter. The home side went down 1-0 to table toppers Inter Milan in their last encounter and the away side are winless in their last four games. With Atalanta within touching distance of the Champions League places and Spezia being six points clear of safety, the willingness to win should be far greater from the home side. Add the hosts to all multiples!

Sassuolo 13/10

Draw 22/10

Hellas Verona 2/1 (16:00)

Eighth takes on ninth in this encounter as Sassuolo host Hellas Verona. The hosts are without a win in their last three games and face a Hellas Verona side who lost their four-game undefeated streak by going down 2-0 to AC Milan in their last contest. With Hellas Verona looking more likely to bounce back, they do look the value here.

Benevento Calcio 24/10

Draw 2/1

Fiorentina 12/10 (19:00)

The hosts Benevento are without a win since 6 January and find themselves just above the relegation spots. They face a Fiorentina side who are tied on points with them but are ahead of them on goal difference. In Fiorentina’s last encounter, they managed to salvage a draw by scoring a last-minute equaliser in a 3-3 draw against Parma. With Fiorentina looking more progressive, the away side do look like a good bet here!

Genoa 23/10

Draw 2/1

Udinese 13/10 (21:45)

Genoa are without a win in their last five encounters and face an Udinese side who are undefeated in their last four. The away side are five points ahead of Genoa on the table and do look like they could be too good here. I’m backing the away team at 13/10.

Bologna 13/10

Draw 22/10

Sampdoria 21/10 (13:30)

Bologna host Sampdoria in this encounter, four points separate these midtable sides who are currently 10th and 12th. Bologna have lost their last two games on the bounce while Sampdoria have drawn their last two. With both teams wanting to get back to winning ways here, it promises to be a tricky encounter and the draw does look the way to go!

Parma 4/1

Draw 3/1

Roma 6/10 (16:00)

The hosts are winless in their last 18 games in all competitions and face a Roma side who have won two on the bounce and find themselves in the Champions league places. The away team should win this quite comfortably and should be added to all multiples.

Torino 62/10

Draw 38/10

Inter Milan 4/10 (16:00)

Torino were beat by basement dwellers Crotone in their last encounter. They now face table-toppers Inter Milan who are on a five-game winning streak. With Inter looking like a steam train at the moment, they should be unstoppable.

Cagliari 46/10

Draw 33/10

Juventus 5/10 (19:00)

Cagliari host defending champions Juventus in this encounter and it looks like a David verse Goliath matchup. The hosts are undefeated in their last three games, but they do face a different type of opposition here. With Juventus winning their last two on the bounce, they are aware that they can’t afford any more slip-ups and should win this quite comfortably.

AC Milan 15/10

Draw 23/10

Napoli 18/10 (21:45)

The game of the weekend sees AC Milan host Napoli. The hosts ran out comfortable winners against Hellas Verona last time while the away side made light work of Bologna. With AC Milan not wanting to let their arch-rivals run away with the title, and with Napoli wanting to get into the Champions League spots, it does look to be a must-win for both sides. I’m expecting a cagey first half hence the reason I’m tipping the first half draw at 12/10.

TREBLE @4/1

Fiorentina Win 12/10

Roma Win 6/10

Juventus Win 5/10
