Round 32 of the Italian Serie A kicks off on Saturday the 14th of April! Find out who our football expert is backing.

With seven rounds of football to go, Juventus will be fairly pleased with their four-point cushion over second-placed Napoli. The latter has led at the summit for the majority of the season, but following a defeat and two draws in their last five matches, the Old Lady have reclaimed their place at the top of the standings.

Will Juve remain on course for a seventh consecutive title? Or will the Azzurri make a late comeback and steal the show? Those questions will be answered in the next few weeks. For now, let’s get to this weekend’s proceedings.

Saturday 14 April

Cagliari 14/10
Draw 22/10
Udinese 2/1

Cagliari have been dismal with three defeats from three matches, scoring just once and conceding seven times. Udinese have been dreadful with eight losses on the spin and that doesn’t look like improving here.

Both sides will see this as the perfect opportunity to claim maximum points with relegation a possibility for one another. However, the two teams are struggling to score goals and win games, leaving the twain with a lack of confidence. The Under 2.5 Goals market is tipped at 7/10.

Genoa 17/20
Draw 47/20
Crotone 37/10

Genoa are placed 11th on the standings with just eight wins from 31 games. Crotone earned a much-needed 1-0 win over Bologna last time out, taking them one step closer to surviving the drop. The hosts have lacked consistency this term, while registering just four wins from 15 home games.

The Sharks on the other hand, have lost 11 of their 15 travels, including three in a row. The draw looks a likely result.

Chievo 23/10
Draw 23/10
Torino 12/10

Chievo were unlucky last time out, going down 2-1 to Napoli after conceding twice in the latter stage of the match. Torino have been in great form in recent weeks with three straight wins, scoring nine goals and conceding just once.

The last four meetings between these sides have seen both sides find the back of the net and I’m expecting another goal fest. Take Both Teams to Score – Yes – at 15/20.

Atalanta 18/10
Draw 22/10
Inter Milan 31/20

Atalanta and Inter Milan will go toe-to-toe at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia on Saturday evening. La Dea have struggled of late but will be determined to capitalize on home advantage. Inter Milan have been just as weak in recent weeks with one defeat and one draw from their last two matches.

Atalanta won this fixture 2-1 last season and will be looking to repeat that feat. The home win should be backed at a valuable 18/10.

Fiorentina 5/10
Draw 31/10
SPAL 57/10

Fiorentina are unbeaten in their last six matches, winning all six in the process. SPAL 2013 are also undefeated in their last six games but have drawn their last four matches. The Viola will be even more confident after ousting Roma 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico last time out.

Their relegation-threatened opponents have managed just two wins from 16 travels and should go down here. Back Fiorentina for the win.

Sassuolo 7/10
Draw 28/10
Benevento 15/4

Sassuolo are off the back of a hard-earned 1-1 draw away to AC Milan, extended their unbeaten run to five matches. Their last home game saw them earn a 1-1 draw against title-chasers Napoli and they will be determined to claim maximum points here.

Benevento are rooted to the bottom of the table, losing all 15 of their matches on the road, scoring seven goals and conceding 39 times. The home win looks a banker bet!

AC Milan 33/10
Draw 51/20
Napoli 8/10

AC Milan’s form has deteriorated in recent weeks and they would have been disappointed with their 1-1 draw in front of their die-hard supporters last time out. Napoli will be desperate for the victory as they remain four points adrift of log-leaders Juventus.

The Azzurri remain the only unbeaten team on their travels this term with 12 wins and three draws from 15 games. Back Napoli to come away with a narrow and hard-fought victory.

Bologna 6/10
Draw 28/10
Hellas Verona 9/2

Bologna are without a win in their last five matches. Hellas Verona would have been delighted with their 1-0 home win over Cagliari last time out but their form on the road has been worrying, losing their last four on their travels, conceding 10 without finding the back of the net.

Bologna’s last home match saw them play to a 1-1 draw against a fiery Roma side and they will be looking to go one better here. The Rossoblu won the reverse tie 3-2 and are tipped to pull the double over Hellas Verona.

Juventus 1/5
Draw 11/2
Sampdoria 12/1

Let’s keep this one short and sweet. Juventus are unbeaten in their last 18 league games with 16 wins, while Sampdoria have lost three of their last four travels.

They might have won the corresponding fixture 3-2 but you can bet your bottom dollar that the Old Lady will get their revenge this weekend. Take Juve on the (-1) Handicap at 5/10.

Lazio 17/10
Draw 49/20
Roma 15/10
Lazio have been impressive of late with back-to-back wins, including a 6-2 victory over Benevento at the Stadio Olimpico last time around. Roma have been inconsistent in recent weeks but should pick up their game against their rivals on Sunday evening.

The hosts have found the back of the net in 13 of their last 14 home games, while Roma have scored at least one goal in each of their last seven travels. Both Teams to Score – Yes – is tipped at 5/10.

TREBLE TIPPED @ 3/1
Fiorentina Win 5/10
Bologna Win 6/10
Sassuolo Win 7/10
