Khama Billiat says Kaizer Chiefs need to be on top of their game to overcome Gavin Hunt's Chippa United this weekend.
Both sides have endured similar slow starts to the 2021/22 DStv Premiership season, with just one win from six league games.
Hunt knows Chiefs well from his recent spell at the club, and is currently in the process of rebuilding at the Chilli Boys.
But Billiat insists that a top-class performance will be too much for their opposition at the FNB Stadium.
He said on KickOff: “We are back shifting the focus, and, on the weekend, it is going to be a big fight and we are just going to make sure that we stick to our game plan, and we believe in our game plan.
“We feel good and I feel good, and I think it is the time for us now to start to get those little things that make the difference in scoring more goals and defending our goal as a team and going forward.”
Billiat added: “We just need to be on the top of our game. It is not going to be easy especially playing coach Gavin as he used to be here, and he knows players individually and has the experience.
“It is a great opportunity for us to play him now and put ourselves in a better situation than we are right now and start collecting maximum points.”
