Inter kings of Serie A, but there’s still more to play for

There’s still plenty to play for in Serie A despite Inter being crowned league champions.

The champions of Serie A may have already been crowned this season, but there is so much more to play for. Who will qualify for the Champions League and who will get the drop? Juventus and AC Milan may gather all the attention but the real must-watch clash of the weekend sees Benevento up against Cagliari.

44/10 Spezia| Draw 36/10| Napoli 5/10 (15:00)

Spezia host Napoli in one of the first games of the weekend. The hosts are currently 16th on the table and without a win in their last four games. They face a strong team from Naples who have only lost one of their last 13 encounters. With Napoli just a few points off the Champions League spots, their desire to win should be far greater than the hosts’. Hence the reason I am tipping the away side to win this quite comfortably.

13/10 Udinese| 2/1 | Bologna 2/1 (15:00)

It has been a mixed season for Udinese. Every time they look to be going forward, they take a few steps back. They find themselves level on points with their visitors, Bologna. Both teams have mixed form to their name and the result looks extremely hard to call on paper. The half-time draw looks the way to go here at 1/1.

7/20 Inter Milan| 4/1 | Sampdoria 64/10 (18:00)

The newly-crowned champions of Italy host midtable Sampdoria in this contest. Inter will definitely be wanting to win their remaining games in hand and Sampdoria really don’t have anything to play for this season. Add Inter to all multiples!

29/10 Fiorentina | 28/10 | Lazio 8/10 (20:45)

The hosts are five points clear of the relegation zone and should be safe for another season. They face a Lazio outfit that are in the European spots and still have a chance of making the Champions League if they win their game in hand. With bigger prospects in mind, the away side should be able to win this quite comfortably. Add the away team to all multiples!

22/10 Genoa | 24/10 | Sassuolo 12/10 (12:30)

Genoa have one win in their last five games. They face a tough task against a Sassuolo side who have four wins in their last five games. In-form Sassuolo should be able to win this quite comfortably as Genoa’s form in recent times doesn’t look too good. Sassuolo look good value at 12/10!

2/1 Benevento | 24/10 | Cagliari 12/10 (15:00)

Both teams in this contest are fighting relegation. The hosts are winless in their last six, while the visitors have put together a good run of form, accumulating 10 points in their last four games to all but guarantee safety. A win for Cagliari will put them into the strongest possible position while a defeat for Benevento could see the end of their chance of survival. On form, we must back Cagliari.

2/1 Hellas Verona| 23/10 | Torino 13/10 (15:00)

Hellas Verona have won one of their last nine encounters and find themselves 10th on the table. They face a Torino side who built up a head of steam to collect 10 points from their last five games. With Torino having a little bit more to play for in this encounter, they should be able to win this.

9/1 Parma | 56/10 | Atalanta 2/10 (15:00)

Parma require the greatest miracle in football to stay up. Based on their current performances, they do really look like they have come to terms that they will be in the second division next season. Atalanta are second on the table and really should make light work of their opposition in this encounter. Add Atalanta to win half-time at 6/10 to all multiples.

7/20 Roma| / 46/10 | Crotone 64/10 (18:00)

Roma are well ahead of basement dwellers Crotone on the table, but the hosts have not won a game in their last five in all competitions. Crotone weren’t disgraced against the newly-crowned champions and will definitely put up another fight against Roma. This will be a hard-fought game and Both Teams To Score at 6/10 looks the right choice.

7/10 Juventus| 3/1| AC Milan 36/10 (20:45)

The clash of the weekend sees Juventus take on AC Milan. For the first time in nine years, Juventus had to relinquish their title, and they are in danger of not qualifying for next year’s Champions League. They host a Milan team who are also looking to remain in the Champions League spots and that makes this clash even more interesting. Back the half-time draw at 14/10.

TREBLE @ 13/2

Napoli Win 5/10
Cagliari Win 12/10
Torino Win 13/10
