Still left in the lucrative competition are holders Orlando Pirates who play Chippa United, as well as the in-form pair of Stellenbosch and Mamelodi Sundowns.
While the Buccaneers overcame AmaZulu 4-2 in their quarter-final clash, Chippa disposed of TS Galaxy 2-0.
Stellies, meanwhile, thrashed SuperSport United 4-0 as Sundowns needed penalties (4-3) to see off the University of Pretoria after their clash had ended goalless.
A Premier Soccer League statement read: “The semi-final showdown will commence with the clash between 2021 finalists Chippa United and defending champions Orlando Pirates at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, 04 May 2024.
“The excitement continues on Sunday, 05 May 2024, at Danie Craven Stadium in the Western Cape, where Stellenbosch FC and Mamelodi Sundowns will vie for a spot in the final.
“Both fixtures are scheduled to kick off at 15h00, ensuring convenient travel logistics for football fans.”
