Sekhukhune secured a point against second-placed Stellies as Chibuike Ohizu’s 86th-minute goal cancelled out a 41st-minute Anicet Alain Oura opener.

The result extended Babina Noko’s unbeaten league run to nine games to leave the club in fourth place on the standings with 36 points – one adrift of third-placed Orlando Pirates and four behind Stellenbosch.

Reflecting on the game, Seema explained that Sifama’s experience playing for Amakhosi as well as his performances in the Sekhukhune reserve side meant he was fully ready for the first team.

The head coach explained: “Well, he has been with our DDC team and he has been doing very well. He even scored last week.

“He is one of the guys we have promoted and he is not new in the Premier League. So, he has tasted it before and you can see by his confidence.

“Once he gets to understand the relationships and once he starts to understand we will get there, and it’s nothing different or surprising for us because he has been training with us and we see him.”

Sifima, who has also spent time on loan with Maritzburg United, Pretoria Callies and Casric Spurs, could see more game-time against relegation-threatened side Cape Town Spurs on Saturday.
