Williams is nominated for the Footballer of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season, and Goalkeeper of the Season awards.

“Yeah, it’s been an amazing season, especially in the league. We’ve been nothing short of great. We’ve been amazing throughout the season,” said a delighted Williams.

“Our consistency has been so key, our relentlessness, our brotherhood, our fighting spirit, you know, throughout the season.

“And you know, this game, it has so many big things to it, you know. If we obviously avoid defeat, then we’ll be the first team, to get the invincible tag in South Africa. And that’s massive, and I think we fully deserve it.

“The hard work, the sacrifices we’ve done throughout the season. I think it would be, it would be perfect for us to end the season with a win, especially in front of our supporters, in front of the Masandawana.”

‘Ronza’ has also urged Sundowns fans to emulate Manchester City style to come out in numbers to celebrate lifting the trophy.

“They’ve been amazing throughout the season. So I would like to urge them once again to come out in numbers, to come out and show appreciation for the work that we’ve done throughout the season. That’s been tough.

“There’s been a lot of challenging moments, but they stuck, you know, with us throughout the season.

“So, I would like to urge them to come out in numbers, to come out and support. Let’s make it a wonderful celebration, a wonderful day.

“You saw it in England with the Man City supporters.

“So, I would like to urge the Masandawana to come out there, show us love, show us appreciation, and let us just celebrate together. Thank you, celebration together.”

Kick-off is at 15:00.
