Pitso Mosimane has signed a two-year contract extension as head coach of Al Ahly to remain at the Egyptian giants until the end of the 2023/2024 season.
There had been much said in the press about whether Mosimane would be granted an extension but Tuesday night’s 3-0 win over Pyramids to leaprog the latter to the top oof the Egyptian League appears to have sealed the deal for ‘Jingles’.
“Al Ahly SC announce the extension of Pitso Mosimane’s contract for two more years after what he achieved for the club,” the Team of the Century announced in a statement on Wednesday.
“Mosimane and his assistants signed the new contract with the club to put an end to all the rumours that were circulating during the previous period.”
