Masandawana head into Tuesday’s encounter sitting comfortably at the top of the standings 11 points clear of their nearest rival.

Coach Rulani Mokwena’s side will be looking to complete a double against a struggling Rich Boys side after a 1-0 first-round win in August 2023.

Meanwhile, the KZN outfit are stuck in the relegation zone with 14 points from 21 games in 15th place on the log.

“I think being in their position (Richards Bay) in the league it’s a tricky thing, they will want to gather as many points as they can, and on our side, we are trying to wrap up the league, it’s going to be interesting,” said the 31-year-old.

“I think most teams that we played this season have resorted to waiting on our mistakes to hit us on counters.

“I’m anticipating them to do exactly that, but you may never know, maybe they will high press. But they know the danger of high-pressing us.

“I think they are going to wait for our mistakes and try to capitalise on that.”

Lebusa went on to also urge their supporters to come in numbers as some fans are still coming back from the easter holidays.

“I would like to edge our yellow nation to come do, what they do best, to come in numbers beat the drum as loud as they can and we will make sure that when they go home, they go happy,” he concluded.

Sundowns still remain unbeaten this season in the DStv Premiership in 18 matches and will be looking to set a record as they will want to be crowned as champions without a defeat.
