Sought-after TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has responded to increasing links to the vacant managerial job at Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs after leading his TS Galaxy side to the top of the DStv Premiership.
Despite selling some of his key players at the start of the season, Ramovic has done exceptionally well to guide TS Galaxy to the final of the Carling Knockout Cup while also currently occupying fourth position in the DStv Premiership.
The German tactician’s exceptional accomplishments didn’t go unobserved with several reports emerging naming Ramovic as a candidate to take over the hot seat at Naturena.
“I’m the coach for this beautiful club TS Galaxy, I have a contract. I’m very happy to be here,” Ramovic told Marawa Sports Worldwide.
“Besides that, we all know that Chiefs is a wonderful club. Probably the most beautiful club in South Africa.
“But this doesn’t change the fact that I’m happy where I am now and where I stay.”
The 45-year-old coach insisted that he was unaware of the source of the speculation linking him to the Soweto giants.
“I don’t know Robert, maybe because we are doing a good job with our team now.
“But as I said I don’t know, we just have to focus on our club to improve even more. And everything else is just a future because right now the present is the most important thing.
“And this is where we enjoy a lot with all my players, this is just a beautiful time,” he concluded.
Ramovic has a year remaining on his current contract with the Rockets after being appointed during the 2021/22 season on October 1, 2021.
