In gameweek 28, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus had big wins to keep things interesting at the top, while Jose Mourinho’s Roma also managed a statement win against Atalanta, strengthening their position in the race for top-four. With ten games left for most teams, we look at the upcoming gameweek 29.

Saturday 12 March

29/10 Salernitana | Draw 28/10 | Sassuolo 17/20 (16:00)

After last weekend’s result, Sassuolo is now unbeaten in four games in the league. This run has moved them to the top half of the table as they now occupy the tenth spot. They come up against hosts who got hammered 5-0 by Inter last time out. For a team high in confidence, this is the game Sassuolo will be looking forward to, for Salernitana this is possibly one of those games they will look to get something, anything from. Back Both Teams To Score (Yes) at 11/20, but this should be a win for the away side.

29/20 Spezia | Draw 9/4 | Cagliari 37/20 (16:00)

The home team was unlucky to come out with nothing in their 1-0 loss to Juventus last time out, their fourth loss in a row. With this current run, Spezia is the most out of form team in the league and will be happy to face a Cagliari side just below them on the 17th spot. Before losing to Lazio in their last game, Cagliari was on a decent run of five games unbeaten, a run that included wins against Atalanta and Torino. I’m backing a low-scoring draw on this one.

39/10 Sampdoria | Draw 29/10 | Juventus 13/20 (19:00)

The Sampdoria team has had fluctuating form in the last couple of weeks, taking just two wins and losing three times in their last five games. Last time out they lost to Udinese, which now sits 3 points ahead of them in 14th position. There’s been nothing up and down about Juve’s recent form though, with no loss in their last 11 games. The Old Lady is now just seven points behind league leaders Milan.  Back the away team here.

7/20 AC Milan | Draw 4/1 | Empoli 7/1 (21:45)

An Olivier Giroud goal helped Milan to an important win against fellow title rivals, Napoli, that saw them keep the top spot in the Serie A table, even though Inter still has a game in hand. The victory should spur Milan on against an Empoli side that is winless in their last 12 games. Add AC Milan to all multiples.

Sunday 13 March

13/20 Fiorentina | Draw 3/1 | Bologna 37/10 (13:30)

These teams will meet after disappointing draws for both of them last time out. They are separated by 10 points in the Serie A table with Fiorentina in 8th position, while Bologna are five places lower. Despite losing their target man, Fiorentina has done well to remain one of the most competitive teams in the league. Bologna hasn’t lost a game in their last three games though, making them tricky visitors. With things a bit tight, a Half-Time Draw is my pick here at 13/10.

49/20 Hellas Verona | Draw 49/20 | Napoli 21/20 (16:00)

Napoli will visit Verona limping and looking for all three points after their slim loss to AC Milan last weekend. What will be worrying for Napoli besides the loss is the lack of shots on target, in the nine shots they had only two were on target. Verona won’t be an easy task, as they showed last month where they managed to draw with Roma. They are unbeaten in their last four games and are the fourth-highest scoring team in the league. Back Both Teams To Score (Yes) at 7/10.

7/20 Atalanta | Draw 4/1 | Genoa 7/1 (19:00)

From being comfortable inside the top four for much of this season, Atalanta now finds themselves having to fight for their chance to play with the big boys in Champions League next season. They’ve done themselves no favors with their recent stuttering form in recent weeks where they lost to Cagliari, nicked a point from Juventus, smashed Sampdoria, and lost to Roma. They will look at Genoa as a must-win match and I’m backing them for a high scoring win.

47/20 Udinese | Draw 47/20 | Roma 11/10 (19:00)

Udinese hosts a Roma team that is still probably hoping to claim a place in the top four, as it sits just six points away from Juventus. Both teams are on a good run of form with Roma going unbeaten and claiming two wins in their last five while Udinese has picked up five points in their last five. The home side was impressive against Sampdoria in their last game, managing to get 19 shots at goal albeit only 5 being on target. They managed that with lower possession stats too. They are likely to let Roma keep the ball too on this one and try to catch them on the counter. Double Chance, Udinese or Roma Win at 3/10.

36/10 Torino | Draw 28/10 | Inter Milan 7/10 (21:45)

Inter Milan haven’t won back-to-back games in the Serie A during 2022. Having claimed a big win against Salernitana last time out, they will be looking to finally build some winning momentum against Torino, who are winless in their last five games. Back the away team here.

Monday 14 March

7/20 Lazio | Draw 42/10 | Venezia 7/1 (21:45)

After their loss to Napoli, Lazio responded by winning 3-0 against Cagliari away from home. Their in-form striker, Ciro Immobile, now has 20 goals, equal with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic. They face a Venezia team that has now lost two games in a row while only picking up one victory in its last 14 games. This should be an easy win for Lazio, back them to score Over 2.5 Goals.

TREBLE @ 43/10

Sassuolo Win 17/20
AC Milan Win 7/20
Roma Win 11/10
