Race 3
MISSION DREAM improved in his last start when fourth over seven furlongs, three lengths behind the winner. If he has continued down that same path, he could be the one to side with here. WILD SHEILA is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she finished well to win her maiden race last time out over 1500M. Her overall form is solid and she could be the biggest danger to the former. DIAMONDS AND RUST is a 3yr old filly who showed marked improvement last time out over 1500M and from her handy five draw, she should be involved in the finish today. FIGHT THE KNEAD is another 4yr old filly. She has cracked pole position and has finished second in her last two run, the latest over the mile. She will be hoping to go one better here.

Race 4
ROCKETING TO WIN has won or finished second in his last three outings, the latest when second over this distance, just 0.3L back from the victor. She is drawn in gate seven and should be right up there when they hit the line. FROSTY ROCKS followed up his penultimate start win over 1100M with a seventh-place finish, only 3.5L behind the winner next time out. He is drawn one outside the former and should be a factor today. FIERY RED showed big improvement in his last start over six furlongs and if able to confirm that effort, he should be respected in this line-up. TWO UP won his penultimate start over 1100M and then put in an encouraging next run over the same trip, finishing second, a head behind the winner.

Race 5
AVOSTAR has only had the two runs to date and showed the expected improvement second time out when 1.5L behind the winner over this distance. He is sure to have come on further and could exit the maiden ranks at the third time of asking. DANTE ALEXANDER steps up from five furlongs, but he was staying on well that day suggesting that the extra ground will be to his liking. SNAZZ ‘N’ CHARM disappointed in his last start over six furlongs and was immediately rested for 27 weeks. He returns after two barrier trials, winning the latest and should be considered a huge runner here. KYANITE finished third, four lengths back last time out over 1100M and should enjoy going the six furlongs today.

Race 6
PITJARA has consistent formlines to her name and finished third last time out, 1.6L behind the winner over the c&d. She has a handy two draw and may prove to be the one to be with here. LAKE MARION is seldom too far off the action. She returns from a 17-week rest, but did win her barrier trial to prove her fitness and should be right up there should the former fluff her lines. IN A WHILE returns from a lengthy 68-week break, but she has had the benefit of three barrier trial, winning the latest. She should be included in all bets. KITTYHAWK FLYER has only had the two runs and has finished second in both of these over five furlongs. She will have 2kgs taken off her allocated weight courtesy of her claiming apprentice and should not be overlooked in this contest.

Race 7
SPLIT NOT A SHOCK has only had the two runs to date, but she won second time out over the c&d. She takes on stronger here, but she has a handy three draw and may well be up to the task on hand. HYANNIS PORT has consistent form to her name and finished second last time out over five furlongs, just one length back. She has a wide draw of ten to negotiate, but she should nevertheless be right up there in the dash down to the finishing post. CAPRI OF TUFFY won her penultimate outing over 1300M and then finished fifth, 2.3L behind the winner next time out over 1100M. She could be happier over this distance. MRS MAISEL followed up her penultimate victory over 1100M with fair last effort over the same distance. She is drawn in gate two and has some sort of chance in this line-up.

Race 8
CAFE ROYAL is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys and returns from a 14-week rest, but she has had two barrier trials to show her well-being. She was an extremely unlucky loser of her last outing when beaten in the shadow of the post as her jockey stopped riding her out and was suspended as a result. She could prove difficult to topple today. MERCURY has put in two solid runs, winning the latest by nearly two lengths. He has a wide draw of ten to overcome, but he should be making good late progress of the race. GITAN steps up from 1100M of his latest start and is drawn in gate two. He should relish going over the extra ground. TROPHIES GALORE is a 4yr old filly who was a bit disappointing last time out over six furlongs, but she could enjoy this greater test of stamina.
