Dawn Run Novice’s Hurdle 2019 Preview
NO fewer then eleven of the 22 runners go into this off a winning start and Willie Mullins fields seven, but the market is dominated by EPATANTE who sets the standard and will be very hard to beat.
Nicky Henderson’s charge hasn’t come off the bridle to win both starts since joining the trainer and is considered by some shrewd judges at Seven Barrow’s as the stable’s banker of the meeting.
She’s shown a tendency to pull but the fact that Henderson equips her with a hood and given the likelihood of a strong pace should enable her to settle.
Henderson has a powerful second string to his bow in LUST FOR GLORY but she could have problems confirming Newbury form with POSH TRISH who hasn’t looked back subsequently, rattling off three straight wins.
A pointer the the Mullins chances is Ruby Walsh’s decision to partner MY SISTER SARAH. She however needs to cope with a step back in trip.
Neil Morrice’s Predicted Finish
1st EPATANTE
2nd Posh Trish
3rd Lust For Glory
4th My Sister Sara
5th Black Tears
