He returns from a 38-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The son of Judpot will be at home over the extra distance on offer and if not in need of the run, he should be the one to beat.

Jockey: V.Rensburg M – Trainer: Oosthuizen Z
FIND ME UNAFRAID took on some strong opposition in the Racing Association Stakes last time. His penultimate over a mile when finishing second was good. The son of Master Of My Fate makes his Handicap debut and should have no issues with the rise in distance. Marco van Rensburg steps back into the saddle which is a big plus.

SAO PAULO is the value bet on today’s card. She is much better than her last two starts when having to overcome a wide draw. She has won three times and finished second once from 12 starts over this C&D. With a bit of luck in running, she may be the one to cause the upset.
